Focussing on employee health and safety is one of our core values at Alles Drywall & Interior Construction. Construction projects pose many risks and challenges and we are continually reviewing our policies and procedures to help ensure our goal that every one of our employees goes home safely at the end of each day.
We strive to create a strong safety culture where hazards are identified and controlled, communication lines are open between management and our employees to discuss health and safety matters, and staff are appropriately trained and equipped for the hazards they will encounter. We regularly monitor and evaluate safety performance to ensure compliance with legislation as well as our own standards, and we strive for continuous improvement of our safety management system.
Working safely is a condition of employment at Alles Drywall. Our Site Supervisors are held accountable for ensuring that employees work safely and that hazards are identified and controlled on all of our construction projects. Health and safety performance is measured and is a key factor in job appraisals.
Our safety management system is led by our General Manager, Tim Alles, a Canadian Registered Health and Safety Professional (CRSP) and Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC) who brings over 15 years of experience managing corporate health and safety.
